Hyy!!!! My name is Tandin Pelmo, a quiet observer who finds strength and comfort in solitude. I come from Tshenkhar, a remote place in the eastern part of Bhutan under Lhuentse dzongkhag. My parents got divorced in 2014 when I was in class four, and although it was a painful and confusing time for me as a child, I gradually learned to cope with the changes. What comforts me most is that even though they live separately, both of them continue to love and support me in every way. Their care and encouragement give me the strength to focus on my studies and personal growth, and I feel grateful that despite the separation, I still have the guidance of both parents in my life. I feel grateful that I can still depend on both of them.

I come from a family of five siblings. However, in 2023, we faced one of the most difficult moments of our lives when we lost our eldest brother. His absence has left a deep mark in our hearts, but we continue to remember him with love and gratitude for the role he played in our family. Now, there are four of us, and this loss has taught us to be stronger, more supportive of each other, and more determined to make our parents proud. I wish to have them all in my next generation as my family, because of their love and support have shaped the person I am today.

My academic journey began at Autsho Middle Secondary School, where I completed my middle school education. Afterward, I continued my studies at Lhuentse Higher Secondary School. Currently, pursuing my bachelor's degree in Primary Dzongkha at Paro College of Education in third year. In conclusion, the experiences I have gone through, both happy and painful, have shaped who I am today. With the love and support of my family, I am determined to work hard and achieve my dreams.
